About Northern

Picture the north. Rugged landscapes. Breath-taking scenery. Mountains and dramatic horizons.Endless woods. Naturally clear blue waters and fjords. Rough winters filled with darkness, offering time for contemplation. Then, the contrasting excitement of the never-ending bright summer nights with time for socializing. This is Norway.

Then focus on Oslo. The capital. A tiny urban culture. In the northern remoteness. With friendly vibes, diverse people and talent. With vibrant elements of coolness and change, yet also peace and calmness. A good place to be. To feel at home and belong. To work or visit.

This is where you find Northern. A small Norwegian producer. With a creative team illuminatinglives ever since the brand was born back in 2005. Independent and local, yet with a global perspective. Crafting and promoting new design ideas and supporting talents when we discover them. With the ambitious dedication to create the very best in furniture, lighting, and design accessories.

We present simplicity and rich silhouettes. We blend and contrast, mixing creativity with traditional craftsmanship, crafting things to last. Showcasing pieces that set the right moods for both contemplation and socializing. Making Nordic design cooler and more beautiful than ever before. By continuously improving and challenging ourselves and making the Northern collection more unified in spirit and style.
